Really good breakfast option in Fort Worth- friendly service, excellent coffee, great interior and mostly well-executed menu items.

Tons of parking available that leads up to a really cool building and location on the trail. Small detail that I notice every time- Even though this is a social, fun place, the large booths allow you to have a conversation without yelling- key for the brunch crowd. Service is very good-helpful explanations and we got checked on just the right amount.
Coffee is my favorite in DFW- thanks Avoca!

Avocado toast was very good- unique ingredients were well chosen, but it was hard to share because it wasn't pre-sliced. At $9 I would have wanted a  more table-friendly item. Mademoiselle toast was really freakin good; mint leaves on there really made a difference. Egg in a hole sandwich was way too big and unwieldy, but all ingredients were killer.  Really can't go wrong anywhere on the menu!

Ok Yelpers, first of all I would like to say thank you to my followers. For those of you that haven't, shame on you... ha ha just joking. Start following and see my latest reviews.

Ok, the Press Cafe... huuum, well I took a ride down the Trinity River on the bike trails. Very nice day.... not! It was freaking hot. I pulled over to the Press Cafe. Pretty cool atmosphere.
They have a nice covered patio. There was a variety of tables. Tall and short. They had some you could even lounge in.
We sat pretty quick and the waitress was at our table before we knew it.
The adult drink menu had just about anything you can think of but dont think of taking it out.  That's a big no no.
The menu was real easy to read, not a lot of choices.
The prices seem a little high for the amount you receive. I had the omelet with fruit. I should have order two orders. It wasn't that much. But good.

It was a relaxing stop from bicycle riding.
I gave three stars for the atmosphere, location, and the beer. Definitely not for the amount of food to price.

Enjoy and keep trying new places..... Peace!

Bobby J added to his review:
I commented above on the quantity. I had the omelet with fruit. The omelet was approximately 2 inches wide, approximately 1 inch high and approximately 5 inches long. For the price I would expect twice to three times that size.

Updating to 5 stars, i went back again, and the service and manager are just too good to give a 5. The mimosa must have been a fluke last time. Get the cafe burger, mmmmm wow! Sounds like a plain burger on the menu, but its anything but! Tip remember, we're in the south! Offer sweet tea ;)

Perfect place to catching a meal outside. Fort Worth and Press Café have done a great job beautifying the outdoor space. There are events that happen outdoors and tons of bike riders and walkers all around.

The food selection is fresh and tasty, their coffee is good, but they can use some work on their mimosas. They don't come in a regular Mamosa glass, more like a scotch glass of some type, and as much as people think otherwise, presentation and glassware do matter. Unfortunately, it was also room temperature at best and not tasty. For eight dollars I would expect a little more.

The service was excellent and quick. The waiters were all, and when I say all I mean all, friendly. It's a dog friendly place which is great for me and my dog. And they do a good job of keeping the outdoor space cool in the Texas summer heat. The manager runs a tight ship, but in a good way. More restaurants should have management like that.

Try the mademoiselle toast, and the egg in the hole, both good selections.

Great service. Great food. Great place to be. Perfect for Saturday brunch with the girls. It definitely doesn't hurt that it was 75 and sunny outside but a perfect place to spend my Sunday afternoon! Definitely recommend! Media dip is a great starter and cannot go wrong with anything on the menu

This is a great location in Fort Worth. It's a unique atmosphere where you can dine either inside or outside. I generally go there for breakfast and I've never been disappointed. most recently we had omelettes and fruit while we sat outside and enjoy the lovely weather. My advice is go early so you won't have to wait for a table.
